Cinnamon Candied Apples

  1. Bring water, sugar and candies to boil over medium heat in a large saucepan.
  2. Stir constantly until dissolved.
  3. Reduce heat and carefully add the apples.
  4. Cook (uncovered) until apples are tender, about 8 minutes.
  5. Transfer apples to a serving dish and pour syrup on apples.
  6. Serve either warm or chilled.
  7. Garnish with mint or whipped cream if you like.
