Cranberry oatmeal cookies
- 1 cup butter or margerine softened
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 2 cup quick cooking oats
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup coarsely chopped fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1 tbsp grated orange peel
- 1 packages 12 oz vanilla chips
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time beating well.
- Add vanilla at this time.
- Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
- Add to creamed mixture.
- Stir in oats, cranberries, and orange peel.
- Stir in chips.
- Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheets.
- Bake at 375F for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Cool on wire racks.
- Makes about 6 dozen.
