Easy to Stuff Manicotti

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Step 1: Over medium heat, brown meat with onion and garlic until browned (add spices to your preference, I add Montreal steak seasoning, pepper, Italian seasoning, etc).
  3. Once browned, drain grease if necessary.
  4. Step 2: Boil water for manicotti.
  5. Step 3: Add the jar of marinara sauce to meat (add tomato sauce as well, if needed) and let simmer on low while your noodles cook.
  6. Step 4: Cook manicotti according to package directions for 6 minutes- you want it to be very al dente so it doesnt fall apart as you stuff it.
  7. Step 5: Place half of the meat sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
  8. Step 6: Stuff each manicotti shell with a piece of string cheese and place it in pan on top of meat sauce in the pan.
  9. Step 7: Cover the shells with remaining meat sauce and shredded mozzarella.
  10. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
