Apple Cinnamon Yogurt Muffins Recipe

  1. Heat oven to 350 F. Grease 24 3-inch muffin pan c. or possibly line with paper liners.
  2. In large bowl, combine flour, 1 c. sugar, the baking pwdr, salt, orange zest, and nutmeg.
  3. With pastry blender or possibly fork, cut in 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter till mix is crumbly.
  4. In medium bowl combine apple, yogurt, and Large eggs; add in to flour mix, stirring till just combined.
  5. Spoon batter into prepared miffin c. and bake 20 to 25 min or possibly till centers spring back when gently pressed.
  6. Cold muffins in pan 5 min; remove from pan and cold till able to handle.
  7. Meanwhile, heat remaining 1/2 stick butter.
  8. In small bowl, combine remaining 3/4 c. sugar and the cinnamon.
  9. To serve.
  10. brush tops of muffins with butter and roll top in cinnamon-sugar mix.
