Red cabbage and pork

  1. Preheat over at 300F
  2. Slice onions in half slices
  3. Melt-golden onions in butter or oil or duck fat
  4. Cut cabbage in quarters and remove hearts.
  5. Slice cabbage thinly
  6. Push onions on the side and cook meat until golden
  7. Incorporate onions and meat
  8. Add pepper, salt and a piece of star anise or "carvi" seeds
  9. Add the cabbage and cook for 5 min
  10. Add a few spoons of soya and dashes of maple syrup and the stock
  11. Put in oven for an hour - hour and a half
  12. After 30 minutes, stir and add a few spoons of water, just enough to keep wet
  13. Serve with green or to keep in the comfy zone, serve with sauteed mushrooms and potatoes
