Betty'S Fruit Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 275u0b0 to 300u0b0.
  2. Chop fruit and pecans.
  3. (Chop fruit very small.)
  4. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and milk. Reserve 1/2 cup flour.
  5. Mix 2 1/2 cups flour with spices and soda. Add to creamed sugar and butter alternately with whiskey. Sprinkle 1/2 cup flour over the chopped fruit and nuts; add to cookie batter.
  6. Bake on greased cookie sheet.
  7. Drop by teaspoon and bake for 20 minutes.
  8. These will keep for a very long time.
