Laurine'S Refrigerator Rolls

  1. Sift flour and measure.
  2. Soften yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water.
  3. In large bowl, combine cool milk, eggs, sugar, butter, salt and yeast; mix well.
  4. Mix in sifted flour, 1 cup at a time.
  5. The dough should be a little on the soft side.
  6. Knead quickly and lightly on a very lightly floured surface.
  7. Shape into a smooth ball.
  8. Place in a large buttered bowl.
  9. Butter top; cover with a clean cloth.
  10. Let rise until double in bulk.
  11. Grease your pan. Roll the rolls into small lemon size balls with your hands.
  12. Butter tops again.
  13. Cover; set in a warm place to rise until double in bulk.
