Turtle Cheesecake Parfaits

  1. Parfait Base: Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in mixer fitted with paddle attachment on medium speed 2 min., scraping side and bottom of bowl occasionally.
  2. Beat on medium high 2 min.
  3. Fold in 2 cups (500 mL) Dream Whip (or 1/4 cup 50 mL for trial recipe) to "lighten" mixture.
  4. Fold in remaining 1 qt.
  5. (1 L) Dream Whip (or remaining 1/2 cup 125 mL for trial recipe) just until combined.
  6. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  7. For each serving: Pour 1 Tbsp.
  8. (15 mL) caramel into bottom of a small glass.
  9. Arrange 10 pecan pieces around the inside bottom of the glass.
  10. Fill glass with 1/2 cup (125 mL) Parfait Base.
  11. Arrange 10 more pecan pieces around the inside of the glass.
  12. Fill the centre with 1 Tbsp.
  13. (15 mL) chocolate syrup.
  14. Garnish with a 1 Tbsp.
  15. (15 mL) Dream Whip rosette and 1 pecan half.
