Turtle Cheesecake Parfaits
- Parfait Base
- 1 qt. Philadelphia Light Brick Cream Cheese Spread, softened
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 4 tsp. vanilla
- 1-1/2 qt. prepared Dream Whip Dessert Topping Mix
- Garnish
- 1 cup caramel ice cream topping
- 160 each pecan halves, cut in half widthwise
- 1 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 cup prepared Dream Whip Dessert Topping Mix
- 16 each pecan halves
- Parfait Base: Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in mixer fitted with paddle attachment on medium speed 2 min., scraping side and bottom of bowl occasionally.
- Beat on medium high 2 min.
- Fold in 2 cups (500 mL) Dream Whip (or 1/4 cup 50 mL for trial recipe) to "lighten" mixture.
- Fold in remaining 1 qt.
- (1 L) Dream Whip (or remaining 1/2 cup 125 mL for trial recipe) just until combined.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- For each serving: Pour 1 Tbsp.
- (15 mL) caramel into bottom of a small glass.
- Arrange 10 pecan pieces around the inside bottom of the glass.
- Fill glass with 1/2 cup (125 mL) Parfait Base.
- Arrange 10 more pecan pieces around the inside of the glass.
- Fill the centre with 1 Tbsp.
- (15 mL) chocolate syrup.
- Garnish with a 1 Tbsp.
- (15 mL) Dream Whip rosette and 1 pecan half.
