Pizza-Style Whirl Buns
- 25 g butter
- 500 g bread mix
- flour
- oil
- 90 g pizza sauce
- 125 g cheese
- 75 g ham
- 50 g pepperoni
- 1 pepper
- Rub the butter into the bread mix until it resembles breadcrumbs.
- Add 350ml slightly warm water and mix to make a dough.
- Knead on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Shape into a ball, cover with clingfilm and rest for 5 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6.
- Grease a 23x32cm tin and line the base with baking paper.
- Knead the dough for another 5 minutes.
- Roll out to a rectangle 26x36cm in size.
- Spread with the topper, then add the cheese and meats.
- Deseed and chop the pepper and sprinkle over.
- Roll up from the long side like a Swiss roll and cut into 3cm slices.
- Arrange in the tin.
- Cover with lightly greased clingfilm and leave in a warm spot for 30 minutes until puffed up.
- Remove the clingfilm and bake for 25 minutes.
- Cool on a wire rack.
- To serve, tear into individual buns.
