Pizza-Style Whirl Buns

  1. Rub the butter into the bread mix until it resembles breadcrumbs.
  2. Add 350ml slightly warm water and mix to make a dough.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
  4. Shape into a ball, cover with clingfilm and rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6.
  6. Grease a 23x32cm tin and line the base with baking paper.
  7. Knead the dough for another 5 minutes.
  8. Roll out to a rectangle 26x36cm in size.
  9. Spread with the topper, then add the cheese and meats.
  10. Deseed and chop the pepper and sprinkle over.
  11. Roll up from the long side like a Swiss roll and cut into 3cm slices.
  12. Arrange in the tin.
  13. Cover with lightly greased clingfilm and leave in a warm spot for 30 minutes until puffed up.
  14. Remove the clingfilm and bake for 25 minutes.
  15. Cool on a wire rack.
  16. To serve, tear into individual buns.
