Sriracha Mac n Cheese
- 1/2 pounds Pasta Of Your Choice
- 2 cups Panko Breadcrumbs
- 3- 1/2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 2 Tablespoons Sriracha Sauce
- 3 Tablespoons Melted Butter
- 1/2 teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 whole Egg, Beaten
- 1/2 cups Milk
- Green Onions, For Garnish
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Boil a pot of water to cook your pasta and grease an 8x8 square baking dish.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions for al dente, drain and set aside.
- In a bowl combine panko breadcrumbs, 1/2 of the cheese, half of the Sriracha sauce, and the melted butter.
- Mix to combine, then add half of the mixture to the bottom of your baking dish.
- Set the remaining aside for a moment.
- Add cooked pasta to a separate bowl, and add in the rest of the cheese as well as the red pepper, the rest of the Sriracha sauce and the tablespoon of un-melted butter.
- Mix to combine, then add the egg and the milk.
- Give it a good mix to make sure everything is evenly coated.
- Add it all to your baking dish and top off with your remaining panko mixture.
- Lightly spray the top with cooking spray and bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove dish from oven and set it on a rack.
- Allow it to cool for 5 minutes, top with green onions then slice up and serve!
