Pull Apart Coffee Cake

  1. Prepare hot roll mix according to package directions.
  2. Place dough in a greased bowl, turning to grease top.
  3. Cover; let rise in a warm draft-free place until doubled in bulk, 30 to 45 minutes.
  4. Punch down dough.
  5. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured board; knead 1 to 2 minutes until smooth and no longer sticky. Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
  6. Combine sugar and cinnamon, stirring well.
  7. Dip balls in butter, then roll in sugar mixture. Place a layer of balls in greased 10-inch tube pan.
  8. Sprinkle with about 1/4 cup chopped nuts.
  9. Repeat layers with remaining sugared balls and nuts.
  10. Cover and let rise until doubled in bulk, 30 to 45 minutes.
  11. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
  12. If you like, drizzle with 10x sugar for a glaze.
