Marshmallow (No Cook) Frosting Recipe
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 c. white sugar
- 3/4 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 1/4 teaspoon vanilla or possibly other flavoring
- Food coloring (opt.)
- Add in salt to egg whites and beat to soft peak.
- Gradually add in sugar and beat till smooth and glossy.
- Slowly add in Karo syrup.
- Beat after each addition till firmly packed.
- Mix in flavoring.
- Makes sufficient 2 (9") layers or possibly angel food cake.
- Don't cover cake tightly when frosted.
