Sesame Rice Salad
- 1 can (15 oz.) mandarin oranges, undrained
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 2 cups instant brown rice, uncooked
- 1/2 cup prepared GOOD SEASONS Asian Sesame Dressing Mix
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 can (8 oz.) sliced water chestnuts, drained
- Drain oranges, reserving liquid.
- Add enough water to reserved liquid to measure 1-3/4 cups.
- Stir in ginger.
- Prepare rice as directed on package, substituting the 1-3/4 cups orange liquid for the water.
- Refrigerate 30 min.
- Add dressing, onions and water chestnuts; mix lightly.
- Gently stir in oranges.
