Oven Chicken and Dumplings- Homemade Gourmet

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. In large saucepan saute chopped chicken, onion, and celery until juices run clear.
  3. Drain (if necessary).
  4. Add remaining filling ingredients and stir until smooth.
  5. Pour into a 9-inch deep dish pie pan.
  6. For dumplings combine biscuit mix and cheese in a bowl.
  7. Stir in milk using a fork.
  8. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto casserole.
  9. Bake, uncovered, until dumplings are golden brown, about 35 minutes.
