Blueberry/Raisin Scones
- 2-1/2 cup flour
- 1-7/8 tbsp. sugar
- 2-1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 cup butter, cut into pieces
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup frozen
- fresh blueberries
- 3/4 cup raisins
- Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Cut butter in dry ingredients until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal.
- Mix together milk and egg.
- Add to butter mixture and mix until dough forms.
- Add blueberries (or raisins).
- Spoon on greased baking sheet forming 7-12 scones.
- Bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes for 7 scones if you are making 12 scones bake for 20 minutes.
