Ginger Fried Pork Meatballs
- 400 grams Thinly sliced pork offcuts
- 1 Scallion
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Katakuriko
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 3 tbsp Mirin
- 1 thumb-sized knob Ginger
- Ground up the pork in a food processor.
- Finely chop the green part of the scallion.
- Grate the ginger.
- Put half of the juice from the grated ginger into a bowl.
- Add the ground pork, chopped scallions, and the ingredients and knead together.
- Oil a frying pan.
- Divide the meat mixture into 16 balls and add to the pan.
- Turn the heat on medium.
- When they start to sizzle, cover with a lid.
- Mix together the remaining ginger and ingredients.
- When the meat becomes white, flip over, pour in the sauce, and continue cooking until the sauce is reduced.
