Simple and Easy Onion Gratin Soup
- 1 Onion (sliced)
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 400 ml Water
- 1 Consomme soup stock cube
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 1 Garlic cheese croutons
- 1 Parsley
- Thinly slice the onion.
- Pour olive oil in a sauce pan, then saute the onion until translucent.
- Add water and consomme, then simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Top with croutons (optional), then it's ready to serve.

- Also use the croutons as a topping in Spinach Popeye Salad.
