Simple and Easy Onion Gratin Soup

  1. Thinly slice the onion.
  2. Pour olive oil in a sauce pan, then saute the onion until translucent.
  3. Add water and consomme, then simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Top with croutons (optional), then it's ready to serve.
