Anita's Raspberry Bars Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 400 .
  2. Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, salt and baking soda.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together, using an electric mixer, till fluffy.
  5. Stir in flour mix, then oats.
  6. Mix will be somewhat crumbly.
  7. Press 2/3 of the mix over bottom of baking pan.
  8. Carefully spread jam proportionately over crust to within 1/2-inch of edge.
  9. Distribute remaining crumb mix over top and press lightly to create a hard crust.
  10. Bake for 20 min, till browned.
  11. Cold completely; cut into bars.
