A.1. Braised Baby Bella Mushroom Burger
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1-1/4 gal. cremini mushrooms, sliced 1/4-inch-thick
- 1 qt. yellow onions, small diced
- 3 cups A.1. Original Sauce
- 24 each ground beef patties (8 oz.)
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- 24 each hamburger buns (2.75 oz.), split
- 24 slices KRAFT Pasteurized Process Swiss Cheese Slices
- Heat oil in large saute pan.
- Add mushrooms; saute until golden brown.
- Add onions, saute 2 min.
- Stir in steak sauce; cook until sauce is reduced and mushrooms are evenly glazed.
- Keep warm until ready to serve.
- Season patties with salt and pepper.
- Grill to desired doneness.
- Fill each bun with 1 burger, 2-1/2 oz.
- mushroom mixture and 1 cheese slice.
