Stir-Fried Broccoli with Sesame Seeds

  1. Cut the broccoli into florets.
  2. Pare the stems and cut them crosswise into thin slices.
  3. Heat a large frying pan or wok over medium heat.
  4. Add the sesame seeds and cook, stirring almost constantly, about 12 minutes.
  5. Transfer to a plate.
  6. Add the oil, soy sauce, and hot pepper to the pan and stir combine.
  7. Add the broccoli and stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
  8. Pour in the stock and cover.
  9. Cook for about 2 minutes longer, or until crisp-tender.
  10. Stir in the sesame seeds and season with salt and pepper.
  11. Serve hot.
