Pita Pizzas
- 1 whole wheat pita bread
- 1 12 tablespoons fruity extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cherry tomatoes, sliced
- 2 button mushrooms, sliced
- 2 black olives, sliced
- 12 of a small garlic clove, minced
- 1 -2 tablespoon crumbled feta cheese or 1 -2 tablespoon shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh oregano, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh Italian parsley, chopped
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Place pita bread on a baking pan or pizza stone.
- Drizzle with olive oil.
- Top with toppings in order given.
- Bake for 5-10 minutes depending on crispness desired.
