Vegetable Stew
- 34 cup sliced onion
- 1 lb ground beef
- 14 cup long-grain rice, uncooked
- 3 cups raw diced raw potatoes
- 2 cups sliced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 2 cups canned kidney beans, drained
- 34 teaspoon salt
- 18 teaspoon pepper
- 14 teaspoon chili powder
- 14 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 12 cup water
- Brown onions and ground beef in skillet, drain.
- Layer ingredients in slow cooker in the order given.
- Cover, and cook on low for 6 hours or until potatoes and rice are cooked.
