Old Fashioned Partridge

  1. Fry all ingredients except potatoes, wine and stock.
  2. place in a casserole and gently cook for 1/4 an hour.
  3. add wine and broth and cook until tender.
  4. add potatoes and serve with vegetables of your choice.
  5. use the liquid to make a sauce and pour over partridges.
