Mom's Macaroni and Cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 3 quart casserole dish.
  2. Melt butter in large saucepan, whisk in flour, add salt, pepper and minced onion.
  3. Slowly add milk, stir continuously until mixture comes to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and add cubed Velveeta cheese.
  5. Continue stirring until cheese has melted.
  6. Meanwhile cook macaroni nooddles until desired consistancy.
  7. Drain noodles.
  8. Combine cheese sauce and noodles in prepared casserole dish.
  9. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until bubbly and beginning to brown on edges.
