Italian Meat Loaf

  1. Start oven at 375u0b0 and grease shallow baking dish.
  2. Put both kinds of bread in large mixing bowl.
  3. Pour 1 cup water over bread and let soak for several minutes.
  4. Drain off excess water.
  5. Mash bread fine with a fork.
  6. Add meat, finely chopped onion, chopped parsley, cheese, slightly beaten egg, salt and pepper.
  7. Mix and form into a loaf.
  8. Put dots of butter over the top and bake 30 minutes.
  9. Pour tomato sauce over the meat; sprinkle with oregano and continue baking 20 minutes longer.
  10. Serves 4 to 6.
