Creamed Fresh Corn Recipe
- 4 ears corn
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grnd pepper
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Cut corn from cob, scraping cob to remove pulp.
- Combine corn and sugar.
- Refrigerate1 hour.
- Heat butter in saucepan over medium heat.
- Add in corn.
- Cook 1 minute.
- Stir in pepper.
- Gradually add in whipping cream, stirring constantly.
- Cook uncovered over medium heat for 10-12 min or possibly till liquid is absorbed, stirring corn frequently.
- Stir in salt.
