Creamed Fresh Corn Recipe

  1. Cut corn from cob, scraping cob to remove pulp.
  2. Combine corn and sugar.
  3. Refrigerate1 hour.
  4. Heat butter in saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Add in corn.
  6. Cook 1 minute.
  7. Stir in pepper.
  8. Gradually add in whipping cream, stirring constantly.
  9. Cook uncovered over medium heat for 10-12 min or possibly till liquid is absorbed, stirring corn frequently.
  10. Stir in salt.
