Nothing To Snicker At Snickers Pie
- 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs (about 15 whole crackers)
- 1 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
- 5 (2.07 oz.) Snickers bars
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. chocolate flavored pudding and pie filling mix
- 1 c. heavy or whipping cream
- Butter an 8-inch pie plate.
- In a medium bowl combine the graham cracker crumbs and 1 tablespoon sugar.
- Stir in the butter until well combined.
- Press the crumb mixture into the bottom and sides of the pie plate.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 5 to 8 minutes or until set.
- Cool completely on a wire rack.
- Cut 4 of the Snickers bars in half lengthwise and then into 1/4 inch pieces crosswise. Sprinkle the pieces in the bottom of the pie crust.
- Prepare the pudding mix according to the package directions for pie filling. Spoon the filling over the Snickers pieces in the pie shell.
- Cover the surface of the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 hours.
