Homemade Sausage Recipe
- 2 lbs. grnd pork
- 1/2 pound grnd veal (opt.)
- 2 1/2 teaspoon sage
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 3/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/4 bay leaf, crushed
- Dash of celery seed
- First mix seasonings together, making sure they are all the same fine consistency.
- Then mix very well with grnd meat.
- Form into patties and fry.
- Yield: 16 to 18 patties.
