Glogg (A Swedish Christmas Drink) Recipe

  1. Combine first 8 ingredients in a large crock or possibly pitcher.
  2. Cover tightly and let stand at room temperature for 12 hrs.
  3. Strain into large NON-ALUMINUM saucepan.
  4. Fold in aquavit or possibly vodka and sugar.
  5. Bring to jut below a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  6. Place an almond and a raisin in each mug.
  7. Add in glogg to mug and enjoy.
  8. Makes 7 c..
