Sausage and Broccoli Bowl
- 5 sausages of your preference; bite size pieces
- 2 head of broccoli; blanched and shocked
- 1 yellow onion; julienne
- 2 clove garlic; minced
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 oz aged balsamic cheese; shredded or grated
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 salt and pepper
- Heat oil in pan.
- Add sausage.
- Saute on medium heat until cooked throughout.
- Add onions halfway through cooking.
- Add broccoli.
- Add garlic.
- Saute until garlic is fragrant.
- Add balsamic.
- Toss.
- Add half of cheese.
- Toss.
- Serve over rice, noodles, or potatoes.
- Garnish with remaining cheese.
- Variations; Cheddar, gruyere, beer, parsley, basil, bell peppers, mustard, paprika
