Egg Custard Pie Recipe
- 4 Large eggs
- 1/3 c. fructose (or possibly sugar)
- Healthy pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk, room temp.
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 9 inch unbaked pie shell (optional)
- Beat Large eggs well; add in fructose (or possibly sugar) and beat till light and fluffy.
- Add in salt, vanilla and nutmeg.
- Turn into pie shell or possibly custard c.. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 min, then at 325 degrees for 15 min.
- Cold completely.
- Preparation time: 45 min.
- Yield: 1 (9 inch) pie; 6 servings.
