Herbed Macaroni And Cheese
- 1 (7 oz.) pkg. macaroni
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1 c. milk
- 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, separated
- 1/2 c. Havarti cheese
- 2 Tbsp. Italian style seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- Cook macaroni; drain well.
- Place in a 1 1/2-quart casserole; set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Stir in the flour and seasonings.
- Gradually add milk.
- Cook and stir until thickened.
- Remove from heat.
- Add sour cream, 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese and all of the Havarti.
- Stir until melted.
- Pour sauce over macaroni; mix well.
