Banana Ice Cream

  1. Place the bananas in the freezer for at least 6 hours.
  2. Remove from the freezer and let thaw for 45 minute Peel bananas and break into pieces.
  3. Place the banana pieces in a food processor.
  4. Add lemon juice and process for 15 seconds.
  5. Add corn syrup and vanilla.
  6. Turn on processor.
  7. While processor is running, slowly add the whipping cream and process until smooth.
  8. Place the mixture in the refrigerator to chill for 30 minute Pour into ice cream maker and freeze as usual.
  9. Takes about 25 minute to get to soft serve consistency.
  10. For firmer ice cream, spoon into container, cover, and freeze for 3 hours.
