Chicken And Dressing Casserole
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cornbread stuffing
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 2 1/2 c. chopped chicken
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. cream of mushroom soup
- grated cheese (for topping)
- Mix stuffing with melted margarine and broth.
- Put 1/2 in baking dish.
- Mix onion, celery, chicken, mayonnaise and salt together; pour over dressing.
- Beat eggs.
- Add milk and pour over the chicken mixture.
- Add second half of dressing.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Take out 1 hour before baking and spread soup on top.
- Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes at 350u0b0.
- Add cheese; bake 10 minutes more.
