Derek's Favorite Oatmeal Cookies

• 1 cup dark brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 12 cup applesauce
• 1 large egg
• 1 12 cups flour
• 1 12 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 pinch salt
• 1 12 teaspoons vanilla
• 1 12 cups butterscotch chips

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine all of the ingredients in the order shown.
3. Place on cookie sheet, (smaller cookies seem to work best!)
4. Bake for approximately 10 minutes.
