Catalan Creme Brulee

  1. Bring dry pudding mix, milk and zest to full rolling boil in saucepan on medium heat, stirring constantly.
  2. Add cream cheese, 1 piece at a time, stirring until well blended after each addition.
  3. Pour into 8 ovenproof dessert cups.
  4. Refrigerate 2 hours or until completely cooled.
  5. (Pudding thickens as it cools.)
  6. Heat broiler.
  7. Sprinkle each cup with sugar.
  8. Broil, 4 inches from heat, 1 to 2 min.
  9. or until sugar is melted.
