Marshmallow Nut Brownies
- 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/3 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/4 c. miniature marshmallows
- Preheat oven to
- 350u0b0
- and grease an 8-inch square cake pan. Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler over hot, but not boiling
- water
- (lowest heat), stirring occasionally.
- Set aside to cool.
- Sift
- flour,
- salt
- and
- baking
- powder into a large bowl and
- set aside.
- Break eggs into another large bowl and beat until frothy.
- Beat in sugar a little at a time.
- Add the chocolate
- mixture,
- vanilla,
- nuts and marshmallows; stir well. Stir
- in
- the
- flour mixture and spread evenly into the pan.
- Bake 30 minutes.
- Let cool in pan for 10 to 15 minutes. Cut into 2-inch squares and remove to a cake rack.
