Toffee Chip Cookies

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream, butter, oil, sugars and vanilla.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Combine the flour, cream of tarter, baking soda and salt.
  4. Add to creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  6. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Remove to wire racks to cool.
