Calgary Pot Roast Recipe

  1. Braising in tomato sauce guarantees tender, flavorful beef.
  2. Trim all fat from roast.
  3. Rub dry mustard and salt into the surface of the meat.
  4. Place in a lightly greased, oven-proof dish.
  5. Top with onion.
  6. Combine tomato sauce, vinegar, thyme and pepper.
