Chicken (Or Turkey) And Dressing Recipe
- 2 quarts. chicken or possibly turkey broth
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 2 lg. ribs celery, minced
- 2 tbsp. chicken bouillon granules
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon MSG
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 recipe cornbread (either mix or possibly scratch) baked
- 6-8 slices white or possibly whole wheat bread, torn into sm. pcs
- 4 Large eggs
- Bring broth to boil.
- Add in onions, celery and seasonings.
- Simmer for about 1 hour.
- Add in breads and cold slightly.
- Beat Large eggs and stir into cooled mix.
- Pour into casserole dish or possibly into cavity of turkey, cover (if using dish), and bake for about 1 hour at 350.
- This may also be cooked in the microwave for about 15 min total time, stirring and turning after each 4 to 5 min.
- Makes a lot.
- About 10-12 servings.
