BBQ Pork Chops

  2. In nonstick, 12-inch skillet, heat oil over med-high heat until very hot but not smoking.
  3. Add chops and cook until browned on both sides, about 6 minute Transfer chops to plate.

  5. Add onion to skillet; cook, covered until lightly browned, about 2 minute Stir in marinara sauce, vinegar, molasses, sugar, and pepper.

  7. Reduce heat to med-low; add chops to skillet.
  8. Cover and simmer until pork just loses its pink color throughout and juices run clear when chop is pierced with tip of knife and sauce has thickened -- about 12-14 minutes, turning chops once.
