Brule Ice Cream Recipe
- 1 quart Lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. Gelatin
- 1/2 c. Cool water
- 1 c. Sugar
- 4 x Large eggs, separated
- 1 quart Cream
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 c. Sugar
- Put lowfat milk in double boiler.
- Soak gelatin in water and add in to lowfat milk.
- Add in 1 c. sugar and beaten egg yolks.
- Put in a warm skillet 2 c. sugar to heat.
- Add in to custard, stirring constantly.
- When cold, add in the beaten egg whites, cream and vanilla and freeze.
- Makes 1 gallon.
