Bourbon Street Bacon
- 1 1/2 lb Bacon
- 1 cup Bourbon
- 2 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cayenne
- 1 tbsp smokehouse seasoning
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire
- 1 tbsp blackening spice or cajun spice
- 1 cracked pepper
- Dip bacon one piece at a time into bourbon.
- Let sit on counter for 5 min.
- Pre heat oven 350. line a cookie sheet with parchment.
- mix all dry ingredients into brown sugar and mix.
- remove bacon from bourbon and lightly part them dry with a paper towel.
- Dip into brown sugar mixture one piece at a time carefully coating each piece.
- lay strips on the parchment then cover with another parchment paper and another cookie sheet
- place in oven for 25 to 35 minutes checking often.
