Meat And Spaghetti In Frying Pan Recipe
- 1/2 pound grnd round beef
- 2 tbsp. fat
- 1/2 pound sm. onion, sliced
- 1 c. uncooked spaghetti, broken into 1" lengths
- 2 c. tomatoes (1 pound can) & sauce
- 1 c. tomato catsup
- Place fat in skillet.
- When fat is warm spread meat over the surface of the pan.
- Brown meat on one side, then the other.
- Add in remaining ingredients in the order listed.
- Cover skillet with a tight fitting cover.
- Have heat on full till steam escapes from under the cover.
- Then turn heat low and let simmer without stirring for 40 min.
- Instead of the tomato catsup, I prefer to use 1 c. of spaghetti sauce and just a little water.
