Microwave Layered Fiesta Spread
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
- 1 (6 oz.) container frozen avocado dip, thawed
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- dairy sour cream
- tortilla chips
- In a 10-inch microwave-safe pie plate, combine onion and ground beef.
- Cover with waxed paper and cook on High for 5 to 8 minutes until meat is done and onion is tender, stirring once. Drain off fat.
- Stir in chili powder and beans.
- Cook, covered, on High for 4 to 6 minutes until heated through; stir once.
- Spread avocado dip over meat mixture and cook, uncovered, on High for 3 to 4 minutes until hot.
- Give dish half turn once.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Cook, uncovered, for 1 to 2 minutes until cheese is softened.
- Spoon sour cream over the cheese and serve with tortilla chips.
