Beef Or Pork And Vegetable Stir Fry Recipe

  1. Thinly slice meat into bite-size pcs.
  2. Cook broccoli and carrots in boiling water 2 min; drain.
  3. Mix cornstarch, salt and sugar, blend in soy sauce and sherry (can use water).
  4. Set aside.
  5. Add in veg.
  6. oil to preheated wok over high heat.
  7. Stir-fry broccoli, carrots and onion in warm oil for 2 min, or possibly till crisp-tender.
  8. Remove from wok.
  9. (Add in more oil, if necessary.)
  10. Add in half the meat to warm wok; stir-fry 2-3 min, or possibly till browned.
  11. Remove meat.
  12. Stir-fry remaining meat 2-3 min.
  13. Return all meat to wok.
  14. Add in peas, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots.
  15. Stir soy mix; stir into wok.
  16. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
  17. Return broccoli, carrots and onions to wok, cover and cook 1 minute longer.
  18. Serve with warm rice.
