Beef And Vegetable Casserole
- 3/4 lb. ground chuck
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 (1 lb.) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes with juice, chopped
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
- 1 can golden mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 lb. potatoes, pared and cooked
- 5 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- Combine beef, onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder and oregano in large skillet.
- Cook slowly, stirring occasionally, until beef is no longer pink and onion is tender.
- Drain off fat.
- Add tomatoes, corn, peas and soups. Mix well.
- Bring to boiling. Cover and lower heat.
- Simmer 20 minutes.
