Bbq Pork Tenderloin

  1. Trimp pork of excess fat and silver skin, then cut crosswise into 1/4 inch thick slices.
  2. Cut eat slice into 3 strips.
  3. Cook onion in oil in a 4 quart heavy pot over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, until golden, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add pork and simmer, covered, until pork is cooked through and tender, 8 to 10 minutes.
  6. Transfer pork with a slotted spoon to a bowl and cover to keep warm.
  7. Boil remaining sauce, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes.
  8. Pour sauce over pork.
