In-Croud Grooves
- 1/2 c. softened margarine
- 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 tsp. lemon extract
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. almond
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 oz. coconut
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease a 9 x 9-inch pan.
- Cream together margarine, sugar, butter flavoring and flour until crumbly.
- Spread and press evenly into greased pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for about 20 minutes.
- While mixture is baking, beat eggs, vanilla and other extracts and brown sugar.
- Sift together flour, brown sugar, salt and baking powder, then stir.
- Add coconut and pecans; mix well.
- Pour over the baked cookie layer.
- Return to oven and continue baking for about 30 minutes.
- Cool for about 2 hours before cutting into bars.
