Pasta fagoli
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1 onion chopped large pieces
- 6 cup broth. 8 cups to make soupier
- 15 oz red kidney bean
- 15 oz cannelini bean
- 1 clove garlic (sliced thin)
- 3 cup diced onions
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 cup short pasta (cooked on the side)
- Cook garlic and onions on a frying pan.
- Add sausage and cook
- Add mixture to broth, diced tomatoes and bag leaves in a large sauce pan and simmer
- Add beans and cheese
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Put a few spoonfuls of pasta in a bowl and poor soup over the pasta.
- Yum!
